Mission
Heart of Behavior's mission is to provide evidence-based behavior methods, to improve the behavioral health of children, families, and the community to live a healthier happier life. Let’s get to the heart of it!
Expertise and Credentials
Heart of Behavior founder Crystal Henderson, M.S., BCBA, LABA, brings over 20 years of experience in educating, training and creating behavior success for children, families and professionals.

ABA uses the scientific principles of learning applicable to all behavior and/or disabilities. Services are designed to enhance the quality of life of individuals to meet their needs and to build relationships and independence.
Applied Behavior Analysis
Heart of Behavior uses Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) which is a science of evidence-based methods to improve behavior. Improving behavior requires decreasing one behavior and replacing it with another behavior. ABA methods teach what to do through positive reinforcement and an understanding of motivation to meet your child's individual needs to create a healthy, safe and enriched learning environment. Everyone is capable of learning!
“Applied Behavior Analysis is the process of systematically applying interventions based upon the principles of learning theory to improve socially significant behaviors to a meaningful degree, and to demonstrate that the interventions employed are responsible for the improvement in behavior.“
