
Internships
As a Heart of Behavior intern, your responsibilites will include:

Complete training requirements
-
Implement programs and procedures
-
Collect and summarize data
-
Implement feedback delivered by supervisor(s) and from written evaluations
-
Pass competency checks and ongoing evaluations
-
Conduct 1-3 hour sessions
Learn the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in our advanced internship program and develop valuable experience and skills for your future career.
Internship training includes:

Learning the Science of ABA
-
Assisting in conducting assessments
-
Assisting in the development of program goals, protocols and data collection systems
-
Collecting and analyzing data
-
Implementing programs and procedures
-
Evaluating client progress towards goals
-
Assisting with training of caregivers and other staff
-
Reporting progress towards goals
Basic internship requirements:
-
CPR Certified
-
An understanding of HIPPA (Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act)
-
An understanding of the developmental milestones of children from birth to age 12
-
Experience working with children (babysitting, daycare, etc)
-
Supervision to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst must be in accordance with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board www.bacb.com.
