As a Heart of Behavior intern, your responsibilites will include:


  • Complete training requirements 

  • Implement programs and procedures 

  • Collect and summarize data

  • Implement feedback delivered by supervisor(s) and from written evaluations

  • Pass competency checks and ongoing evaluations

  • Conduct 1-3 hour sessions




Learn the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in our advanced internship program and develop valuable experience and skills for your future career. 


Internship training includes: 


  • Learning the Science of ABA   

  • Assisting in conducting assessments  

  • Assisting in the development of program goals, protocols and data collection systems 

  • Collecting and analyzing data 

  • Implementing programs and procedures

  • Evaluating client progress towards goals

  • Assisting with training of caregivers and other staff

  • Reporting progress towards goals 






Basic internship requirements:


  • CPR Certified

  • An understanding of HIPPA (Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act)

  • An understanding of the developmental milestones of children from birth to age 12

  • Experience working with children (babysitting, daycare, etc)

  • Supervision to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst must be in accordance with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
